Dynamic 10g tests in 5 orientations will be performed, ± x, ± y and + z directions, to test the retention systems and fixation of the equipment in the passenger compartment of an ambulance.
ISO 7176-19 Wheeled mobility devices for use as seats in motor vehicles
A 48kn/h frontal impact crash pulse is used to assess the crashworthiness of a wheelchair and the wheelchair tie down and occupant restraint system (WTORS) when a suitable ATD is seated in the wheelchair.
ECE R17 – Dynamic Luggage Retention Test
Dynamic test for devices intended to protect vehicle occupants against displacement of luggage.
This type of test can also be used to prove the secure fixing of fully loaded racking installed in the back of a van and roof racks systems.
